Thorn does not have the range of my scouts. Put that to rest right now.
If you haven't got a scout that can beat Thorn, you're using the wrong scout.

Edited by Aqua: 6/11/2015 10:25:01 PMI guess Gheleon's demise, considered one of the best pvp scouts, is not a scout rifle after all. Try using a scout against a thorn user, they get you at whatever map you're on, no matter what distance, except sniper distance. Compare that to other hand cannons.

I agree that scouts have sniper range and can't beat a Thorn at that range most of the time depending on the players. The problem is that a hand cannon has perfect range for the design of the gun. People could argue that shotguns don't have the range they have in real life. They just need to give this recent dlc some time. I think more people will find other guns to use. It's like saying gjalla should be nerfed because it's used too much in pve... so thorn is a great gun. So is red death a d hawkmoon and bad juju. Lord of wolves is good along with queen breaker bow...

Lol, check my recent history. Switched back to scouts on the 8th during IB. Pretty sure I'm not having any problems with Thorn.

No mm. Only tried one match so far and it was stupid. They had me use my Lock and go Sunsinger which I never play. Hopefully will have time to try some elimination this weekend.
