I was playing trials and my team and I were 8-0 and we were facing a pretty good team and it was 4-4 match point and we were by the back of the church and both of my teammates were down and it was me vs all 3 of them. I jumped around the outside of the map and it was giving me that 4 second counter until death, I then titan smash onto the other side with 1 second left and kill one guy, after that I take cover and some idiot on their team literal walks though my aftermath and dies. Now it is a 1 v 1and this other guy is sniping down the back lane and we are like 20 ft away from each other and I begin to run towards him he fires a shot going right next to my head, I then see him lining up the shot again and I shoulder charge diagonally and see another shot wizz past my screen, then I slide shot gun him BUT he was still not dead, he blinks away going for a revive and I turn around and get a headshot with my thorn. My Team was like YEAH!!!! BUT one of them had a self rez and I throw a lightning nade on the wall damaged him a bit, and then I did the most ballsy thing I think I have done ever... I shoulder charge him.

You are the epitome of all that I despise about Titans in the Crucible. Add in the sliding shotgun and Thorn and you may be the most generic PvP player ever.

I use different variations of Defender practically all the time because Striker is for chumps that need to rely on cheap tactics to win. Not all Titans are pathetic shoulder-charging, lightning grenade-using, Fist of Panic spammers.

Dude I titan smashed one guy dodged like 3 sniper shots, killed 3 people in one life and a sunsinger by a lightning nade and a shoulder charge. Also I am going to sound like a hipster but I used thorn back when it sucked, and I have always slide shot gunned. I also snipe and stuff, just in that situation a shotgun was best suited. Sorry if you hate titans, a lot of us are really stupid, but when you meet a good one like me you will respect them and all classes. FYI I have one of each class. and they are 32 Hunter 34 Warlock 34 Titan.
