So long as he's not breaking the rules and playing in good competitive spirit, there is nothing wrong with trying to break other people's flawless runs.
After all, the whole damn point of trials is a competitive PvP experience, with skill based rewards. What's the f'ing point if all the best players get one flawless and stop? By Sunday it would be free pickings for anybody regardless of how bad they are at PvP to get free adept loot. By Monday you'd be able to go flawless blindfolded.
