I would argue the other way round, you are what's wrong with Destiny and the entitlement culture in this community. So long as he's not breaking the rules and playing in good competitive spirit, there is nothing wrong with trying to break other people's flawless runs. After all, the whole damn point of trials is a competitive PvP experience, with skill based rewards. What's the f'ing point if all the best players get one flawless and stop? By Sunday it would be free pickings for anybody regardless of how bad they are at PvP to get free adept loot. By Monday you'd be able to go flawless blindfolded.

  • If motivation counts for anything, then this guy is playing for spite more than any kind of "good competitive spirit." But whatever. This community wouldn't be what it is if not for spite.

  • I'd say playing to win and playing to try and be better than others is "good competitive spirit." But it's personally opinion really, I see no issue with it.

  • Eh. There's a distinction between playing for your own wins and then playing simply to deny others theirs, and the original comment to which you've replied makes that clear enough. Dress it up however you want, though. Not as if it matters to you, to me, or even to him.
