As some have stated, this would be a very interesting concept. However, I believe that there should only be very few of these weapons. The reason is simple, these 'classic' weapons really clash with Destiny's style. No Land Beyond would probably be the best exams here, it's unique but just doesn't perform up to standards. Maybe if these 'classics' were modified, then I could see this working a bit more. Think along the lines of an AK47 that shoots plasma bullets or whatever have you. THEN they would probably have the means to perform well while also going with the Destiny style. Just a thought.
