Thats my point you don't have to. If your in an active group you simply turn your console on, start up the game and join your clan/group members games. There is no need to use forums.

Well your point is invalid because I don't want to join a group. That's MY point. It didn't say "become legendary with a clan" on the box. And as such, I should still have direct access to other like-minded players. Give me 1 other experienced raider--give me Evil Genius, and we can carry 4 people to victory on VoG or Crota. Every time.
