First and foremost I understand bugs, glitches, and mistakes made throughout the building of these large mmo games. And I'm not saying I'm even really that upset that I can't actually accept my bounty. However I think that with RNGesus being a true dick, Bungie has the power to fix this bug that seems to be affecting a large part of the community. So I guess it's best if we see just how many people were affected by this. It's hard enough getting the time to complete the Skolas fight, let alone getting the bounty as well. I guess I'm just hoping someone at Bungie sees this and says hey if x-number of players hadn't even accepted the bounty, those players receive a package at the postmaster. That package contains an exotic bounty they lost out on, whether it be random or a choice. Seeing this is largely a mistake on their part and not the players, something should be done. Here's to hoping!! Hope other guardians who have gotten the bounty had better luck then I.
