Destiny is the combination of an fps and mmorpg....one is known for story while the other....eh not so much. Destiny for example is full of lore and story (compared to other fps's) but....the lore is kinda random and lacking in consistency.
So my questions: Does anyone really care about the lore? If it flows well? Should there be more lore?
Edit: Thanks for all the feedback! And for the record, I LOVE the lore but I've always felt that Bungie could have woven more of it in the in-game story instead of leaving it on the app and website for the community to hunt for.

There is potential, but it's...let's say it this way: If it was a book, it could be great. Right now, tied to this game as it is, it's shallow, uninspired and treated like crap overall. So no, I don't care about the lore while playing the game, because the game itself does everything in its power to butcher it. I probably won't buy the next DLC anymore, but if I did, I wouldn't want Bungie to even try to add proper storytelling into the game anymore, because it's just too late. It can't be fixed because the nature and core of the game is what it is. They can try again with Destiny 2 when they don't have to patch gaping wounds with bubblegum.
