Destiny 2 will receive an update tomorrow. Players will be required to log in to Destiny 2 again after installing the update. Please stay tuned to @BungieHelp for updates.
I definitely agree that more will be needed, and very soon with The Taken King lurking right around the corner. Who knows how many new exotics that will add...
Anyways, this post is actually something I think Bungie would do well to read. So, they've cited console memory limitations as a reason for being capped out at the current 24/36/24 setup for the vault.
Well, there's a very easy workaround that would at a very minimum, give Bungie some more time to work on a more permanent solution for the problem, while giving us plenty of space to use to store the upcoming gear.
My idea is simple, instead of using the in-game storage for items, we upgrade the code on the servers to expand into a "Online Vault". The Online Vault would only be accessible through this website, and the companion app. From there, you could make it store 100 of each for starters, that would be useful.
Obviously since the online vault is not actually inside the game, not a single piece of the limited console memory would be touched by that, and you'd still at least have an extended vault to use. True, it might be a little more complicated to have to move things from the app, or the website into the actual game, but hey. More storage is more storage in my opinion.
