First off, not a teenager. Also, I am part of the 6 figure club albeit just barely. You are right that it doesn't take much to turn 50k into 100k if you know what you are doing and yes, some people choose to think that a million dollars is enough to retire on. Which, i guess you could if you get 5-6% interest and can live off of 50-60k every year but most people don't think like that. If you want to get into a conversation about economics and investing strategies I would be more than happy to do so with you buddy.
