Can anyone explain why the heck SGA is on Mars when Pahnin was supposedly killed by Yor on Earth, assuming the collapse prevented extensive space travel (the grimoire card on Thorn fragment 2 seems to suggest this, especially with the Luna part).

The timeline is skewed, it's likely Pahanin died on mars by Dredgen considering that's where you find the... whatever it is frame. But the thorn grimoire is talking to parole not apart of the city. Dredgen became Dredgen during the Great Disaster. After that event, and slightly during, the FoTC was reclaiming other places. Most notable being Venus.
