I understand where you are coming from, but the issue is it can be applied to anything. Why did you throw money on the Destiny game and DLC? That money could have potentially saved someone's life, is your game more important than that? What about the last time you went to the cinema? You could have donated that? The phone/laptop/tablet you are typing on? Jeez that's a lot of money to waste when people around the world are dying...

Do you prefer it when idiots throw money at political parties? What about a professional athlete making millions to play a kids game. To each their own...people need to make bank however they choose.
