Really? Because I'm pretty sure that both fit the arrogant twat who makes way too much money bill. And they both perform the same type of work, entertainment. So pray tell how is there no comparison?

Streamers don't make a lot of money. The reason being that their viewership is not very high.

Prof athletes are truly the best in the world at what they do, and the work and dedication it takes to get there is a life commitment, especially when retirement age is very, very young compared to other professions. Streaming a video game is about as far from that as you can get.

Well if you think they're overpaid to do what they do, well then you have no idea what they do. Being physical at that level is generally unheard of. Not to mention the skills required in what they do, the plays they make, and the influence they have. There's a variety of major factors to being professional. Not to mention they actually play against other people at their skill level. What do streamers do? Play at a bland level, bitch about losing, play against people of lesser skill level, and then ask for donations. Yeah two different worlds.

This^^^ Being an athlete most of my life... I agree.

You think being athletic deserves to be paid millions of dollars a year? Lol. There are Olympic athletes who train their entire lives to be the best at something that don't get paid anywhere near as much as the lowliest of NBA players. The only thing either of them do is play a game for other people's enjoyment. Without the spectators neither job would be shit. The fact that you can't see why the comparison works is worrying at best. But since sports stars don't work for you how about one of these jobs? Actor, news anchor, comedian, stripper, cam girl, porn star, youtube content creator. The list can go on. Stop trying to act like these people are any different.
