Thorn is op because it acts like any other normal hand cannon, but has the damage over time, so people don't need to master using thorn because its just a normal firing hand cannon whereas last word is not. It takes skill to master. Those who cant use last word just use thorn because at the end of the day, it takes way less skill than last word.
