Unable to obtain the "Packing Heat" Trophy
So, I've encountered a strange and really annoying problem: I have fully upgraded three Exotic Weapons (all obtained past 1.2.0) but I have yet to get the PSN Trophy (I'm on PS4). At first I thought it was because the first weapon I fully upgraded, which was Dragon's Breath, was from Expansion 1 and that the Trophy may only include Exotic Weapons from the Core Game only.
Since then I have fully upgraded both Thorn and Invective, yet still no Trophy has appeared.
Anybody have a solution for this? I feel kind of cheated and any help would be appreciated.

You are so right!! Where is Bungie @ on this topic... I've leveled several exotics sinds PoW, but still no trophy. Just got the queenbreaker's bow this morning (PoW exotic) maybe now I will get the trophy but I won't bet my money on it -.-'

Yes, this is very frustrating. I have invective and plan c fully leveled but no trophy because of this. If it is just a small coding error, I don't understand why it hasn't been patched yet. :/

It is a glitch Bungie NEEDS to fix. When they rolled out the 2nd DLC all exotics when fully upgraded do not unlock the Achievement/trophy. This is frustrating for achievement/trophy hunters who care about completions. I LOVE the game but until they patch this achievement I will not be buying their DLC coming out. I know a lot of Achievement hunters who are taking the same stand. BUNGIE Please FIX this Issue. It was due to the fact after the first dlc they made you Ascend your Exotics weapons with an extra Exotic shard and changed the code for the achievement to include this. Then the 2nd Dlc came out and they took out the Ascend on all Exotic weapons to reach max damage, but didn't change the code for the achievement. Making the achievement unobtainable currently. It should be an easy fix take out the code you added during the first DLC and it should work fine. BUNGIE PLEASE FIX THIS.

2 RepliesEdited by iForastero: 6/8/2015 4:42:04 PMTo unlock it you must have a pre-House of Wolves exotic weapon that has the yellow "Ascend" upgrade node on the left side of the upgrade tree. This will require you to use an exotic shard to bring the weapon up to the new 365 damage cap, in addition to filling in every other upgrade node as well. This change renders the trophy unobtainable for now for anyone without an old exotic weapon. Nevertheless, you can get a "Pre-HOW" from the VoG (Raid Venus), for example, the Vex Mythoclast have the option "Ascend". https://www.bungie.net/es/Forum/Post/122119622/0/0/1

1 ReplyI have the same problem and many of my friends too. Personally it's happen with Shadow and Light (french traduction). Personnaly i think it's because the weapons doesn't have the little two number. Need to try... (sorry for my english, not 1st language) ^^
