Really well written and all but the counter argument is like you with using other weapons that aren't as popular. If I were to use a red hand or something and I'm doing good. If it just gets replaced all the sudden by thorn.. I'm going to immediately do better. Sure if you take the thorn away from good players they'll still be good. But not as good haha. The thorn is just overused cuz of the fact auto rifles are pretty terrible now. So buff them back a bit and it'll be less used.
