The fact you said you outgunned a vex, with an up for anything tells me that you are a complete noob, as you have no idea how OP and fun the original mythoclast was ~45 body shot, ~62 head shot with crowd control and it's pretty much an autorifle. The suros was OP because it was a high impact auto rifle with decent RoF and was a -blam!-ing laser with no recoil. Fel Winters lie isn't really that OP, just annoying as it had increased range and just massively increased the number of people using shotguns. Handcannons rn overall are just op, how ever, thorn is the only primary weapon capable of consistently killing with 2 head shots, and it's rate of fire is considered fast for a hand cannon, the most balanced way to normalize thorn is to reduce its rate of fire to that of about Hawkmoon or slower because of the DoT, then it will be more in line with the other weapons in PvP, other ways would be reducing the impact, or making the poison non-lethal.
