The range on that thing is stupid. I shouldn't be outgunned by thorn from 300 meters away when I'm using a scout rifle. It should have a max effective range of about 25 meters (like a real pistol).

Yeah. So much other stuff about Thorn is so close to a real pistol. I can't believe they screwed up the range.

Considering that it basically launches railroad spikes, the range drop off should be ridiculous and the recoil should be high.
