Edited by CCXGT: 6/5/2015 9:12:19 PMI got an African Cichlid Mbuna tank and a lil Reef for "Nemo"...
True Percula Clownfish.... not Nemo...
You knowing True Percula leads me to believe you know what you're talking about that always helps with jobs
-
I like to think I know what I'm doing. There a job going at the place you worked at? Haha
-
The shop started off really well. There were three of us now only one left is the mangers son.
-
Oh right, one of those small family-run shops? They're the best ones, shame they seem to be dying off now with all the awful mega-stores.. (I'm looking at you Pets at Home)...
-
Yep exactly however I think he dug his own hole pissing people off . He lost his mrs and few other things when 3 yrs before it all seemed to be going well. Those mega stores are nailing the lil fellas . Happens in every industry though sadly
-
Yeah.. Well I'm on a first-name basis with my local small fish shop and I'd be screwed if they went under. I think they'll be fine though... Just the other day they got a shipment of 4 gigantic salty Angels. Can't be doing that bad if they're splurging on that kind of stock,

We used to get boxes of marine fish and a heap of live rock ..anything from the true Perculor through to Lion fish Sand Gobies Tangs we had a vast variety that's for sure Port Jackson shark Spanish dancers's , blue spot Rays , Seahorse's and the odd mantis Shrimp we had to find before he'd smash a tank open
-
I'd love to keep a Mantis one day. Did/do you actually keep any tanks yourself? My one worry about getting a job like that is that I'd lose interest with my own tanks.
-
Nice I worked for a Pet store that sold many Cichlid's Marine fish and Tropical's
-
Nice, I've been trying to get a job at my local fish shop (since most of the current employees are entirely incompetent) but they just won't take me.. Annoying!
