I've never understood what people get from watching these streams, I'd much rather play the game for myself than watch someone else play

I watch on occasion...namely when I'm unable to play myself...and usually only for 20 or so minutes. I'm more of a Laced Up Lauren/Ms5000 Watts watcher though. But I completely agree with you. When I have the time to play, I'd rather spend it playing rather then watching someone else do it.
