Broman seems like the biggest tool ever. Goth, I remember him as a moderator back when I frequented the Borderlands forums before it went to shit. He seemed okay then.
Then again I only use Twitch to watch Ray(Brownman).
I'll never understand the ridiculous amount of money people throw at streamers though. I'm not saying they don't deserve money but when someone throws hundreds of dollars or donates a twenty each stream, I have to wonder what's wrong with those people.

Edited by LastBattleCry: 6/5/2015 6:18:36 AMNot being a dick but if your not saying they don't deserve the money so could you tell me why they do? They literally sit and play a video game that other people have to squeeze in and work around their normal working lives and people 'donate' them money as if they are a charity. If they were developers and used it as a testing ground then yes, but they just play the game and can never accept defeat gracefully, have excuses for everything and ban anyone who try's to confront them. I only use twitch to watch games before I decide to buy them and like to listen to peoples verdicts on them, when I get home from work and have a few hours spare I play destiny myself, I couldn't think of anything more ridiculous than giving someone on the other side of the world my hard earned money to play a game that I can see sitting underneath my TV. Edit: I know your agreeing that money shouldn't be thrown at them but do you think they actually deserve any money?

I should have said I neither believe they deserve it or don't deserve it. Twitch is a perfect example of capitalism. It allows people to pay for a "service" they think is worth it, without any limit. It's like a time I went to a bingo(slots) hall and I was killing it while the person beside me was playing their electric bill down the drain. As for me? I don't think it's worth me giving money when so many other people are more able or gladly willing to part with their cash. That's their prerogative, which is a good thing lest the above mentioned streamer I use for background noise couldn't do what he does. Recently he just had a twitch shirt released which I bought. Granted I'm sure twitch takes a much bigger chunk than a sub rate since they seem to take care of the costs. Tl;Dr I'll never donate nor subscribe to a streamer or probably watch another for that matter. And what I think they do or don't deserve matters little because in this age people throw money at anything they like even if it's technically free.

The funny thing about money is you can blow it any way you like. No justification is needed

I'm not saying you can't do what you want with it I just stated I couldn't think of anything worse to do with mine, my main point is do they 'deserve' to receive the money. What effort does a streamer put in to deserve that money?
