I don't think Thorn itself needs to be nerfed. I think all other weapons require a buff. Thorn is a good gun but it seems to dominate because all the other weapons are so underwhelming.

The main problem with buffing everything is the shear amount of weapons that will needed to be buffed. Beefing thorn would probably be easier

That is true. But then we face the "Now this gun is too powerful it needs a nerf" dilemma. It's a battle that will never end.
