Thorn is much better than every single weapon in pvp and if you believe in a balanced pvp you should want a nerf. If u don't tell me why. Please have well though out answers and no shit like 'git gud'. Be sensible
Edit: please try be constructive. I want this to be a discussion not people crying and moaning everywhere

DoT should be decreased by a few points and range reduced slightly, it still has as much range as a sniper. Bungie wanted a balanced PvP, where everything can beat everything. Well, with only a few weapons running around (because they are hard to beat, so people just use those) you can't claim to have a balanced PvP. And to those that claim "these are exotic weapons, they're meant to be overpowered", look up the definition of exotic. It means different, unique. Each exotic has its uniqueness. Even Bungie said that exotics were only supposed to SEEM overpowered, not BE overpowered. Suros Regime can heal you with the bottom of its mag and it has slow but strong ads rof while being accurate. Bad Juju helps charge super and has a "bottomless mag" as long as you get a kill before needing to reload. MIDA Multi-tool always faster movement and has always active radar. Hard Light has bouncing bullets that can overpenetrate some things. These are an example of weapons that "feel" overpowered with not being that. Thorn is a "2 headshot and run" or a "3 body shot and run" gun. DoT is its unique trait but it shouldn't be so strong. RoF, high impact, long range and good stability make this gun overpowered. The Last Word currently has a glitch in it that allows hipfire bonus precision damage to be on ads damage when it's not supposed to. While its a good gun and its trait was meant for hipfire, it is overpowered (due to a glitch, but it's still op). Red Death is a 2 headshot kill gun that heals every time you kill. While healing every kill is helpful in PvE, in PvP it can devastate entire teams in no time at all. These are examples of overpowered guns. While Red Death isn't so much op as Thorn or TLW, it still is a bit strong imo. I do not mention Vex Mythoclast or Hawkmoon here because a.) I believe Vex has finally been perfected in where it should've been at first and needs to stay and b.) I play on Xbox One and do not have the opportunity (yet) to try Hawkmoon for myself. I have played with every weapon I mentioned, and these are my thoughts and opinions based on personal data and on feedback posts ive read.
