Well not literally. Without having Christ in our hearts, sin veils us from his light. We must seek out his light in order to be saved from these sins. That's the reason Jesus died on the cross for us, so that we could be saved from our sins. Here is a commentary on the passage by Matthew Henry: [quote]3:21-26 Must guilty man remain under wrath?
