I'm seeing a lot of negative post right now on the forums so I thought I would shake things up a bit with a more positive look at the new content.
First off, let me start by saying how much I love Trials of Osiris and Prison of Eldars. Definitely taking a step in the right direction for both pvp and pve. From what I noticed people are expressing that pvp may have got a little more attention than pve, and I say they are right, but that's because pvp needed it more. Pvp finally has a perfect way for top tier players to achieve top tier gear for their performance as it should be. To the people complaining about not being able to achieve adept weapons and it being unfair on the pve side, well it's the same as pve'ers earning top raid gear and then coming into Iron Banner and having the advantage. The rewards are perfectly spread apart IMO and the game type keeps me on the edge of my seat trying not to blink. Love it.
Prison of Eldars though I haven't done to much of it, I think is well done and the rewards are appropriate. Just because weapon drops are not guaranteed, does not mean pvpers have the advantage. ToO is designed to be the equivalent to an end game raid for pvpers. Where as PoE is a new firefight mode. It still has new awesome gear but that's not the only gear pve has to offer. There is still the past two raids that still has viable gear your able to ascend. Not to mention a new raid coming soon (that's what I heard please correct me if I'm wrong).
The only thing I wish there was more of is story and interaction/exploration. When I say exploration I mean let us explore the last city on earth or the reef more or have little outpost with allies out in the open world or patrols. Anyways here's to bungie and more awesome content!
