You can't say ape like because they were apes. We still are apes just like how a lion is still a cat. Not to mention that you are stupid for believing in a book that was translated and rewritten multiple times over the course of 2000 years. Your argument is invalid and stupid stop making us Christians look bad, some of us actually don't take the bible word for word and we just search for the moral meaning in the stories.

I'll admit I was wrong about the ape thing but we are primates. I honestly don't care anymore, since birth I was told what I had to believe in and forced to go to some building to worship some dead guy who was publicly executed. I realize now that religion isn't really for me, I still believe in an afterlife though.

Thats not true. If you don't believe that it's all true and just morality stories you're not a Christian UNLESS you still believe that Jesus actually died and rose for you and everyone else and accept him into your heart

Both of which suffer from the same brain activity though; whereas, apes and humans have an obviously differed comparison of intelligence. What point were you making?

That we are apes well we are a more intelligent species of apes. You know other apes are pretty smart like gorillas for example they are the closest thing right now to us humans. All I'm saying is that animals are amazing as to how they change over the course of thousands or millions of years.

Sure, some animals do indeed exhibit some intelligence, but just because an animal has a "this bad; this good" mentality, it doesn't mean that we should assume them to be in sync with one of our most common ancestors. That's why we have missing links.
