Thank you the confusing thing is that since the forum opened pre-alpha the most innocuous and unsensational topics with lots of replies and likes can be at the top or equally at the bottom. I thought perhaps ranking has to do with the rate of likes and dislikes over time. This would make more sense. Given the confusion over how something trends or becomes top rated it's hard to know what is driving the observed effects. I just favourite posts I like and follow these - which suits me fine.
