Plenty of bigger games have matchmaking This is coming from someone who wouldn't have needed to use MM but I don't see a problem with it being optional to allow others to experience the content

Trying to make helpful suggestions [/quote] He wasnt being sarcastic, From some one who has served in US ARMY (myself) high organization and attention to detail are exactly the qualities you look for in a TEAM LEADER and starting a Clan/group isnt a half bad solution for the original poster's problem an the forum an app and console networks make this process not impossible to do.

how about you start fixing your game and listing to your players, people are not happy with the nerfing of black hammer and gally, people want more story and better content, people don't want you to tell us how to play, people want you to make kick ass games and that should be your philosophy, here at bugnie we endeavor to make kickass games. i was a big fan, but the gambling RNG addiction format has turned me off along with the bad patches, i worry about my 3 year old, i grew up with a commodore 64 and have seen games evolve, i hope games with addictive formats and in game purchases fail and some laws put in place to ban them would be good to.

Because The people at Bungie who have the power to change this have made it clear a thousand times over that they aren't going to budge on this. So the whining and the abuse of people like DeeJ serves no purpose.

Part of the reason why Destiny has yet to reach its fullest potential is simply due to the fact that much of the more important PvE related activities lack a viable, and more reliable, way of being completed in a decent timeframe without friends. Optional Matchmaking would be a realistic long term solution that would enable those who lack a clan membership, and those who are already apart of a clan, to tackle PvE content reliably without any restrictions whatsoever. Destinylfg.net is a nice alternative but it uses aren't really practical if you're strapped for time as the OP said, and although the description of a fire team on destinylfg.net may fit your specific preferences and you may meet the qualifications, there is no guarantee that the fire team you join will be successful. Thus often times you're back at square one just searching for yet another fire team on destinylfg.net for potentially another 30+ minutes, with no particular guarantee whatsoever that the next fire team you join will be a successful one. Please pass the word along to bungie and make the staff there understand that optional matchmaking can longer be pushed to the back burner, especially with the new upcoming raid fast approaching. Honestly everyone deserves the right to tackle all the content destiny has to offer regardless of your association, if any, with friends or clanmates.

I have no problem looking for teammates. Creates a better experience in my opinion. MM I minus well be playing with robots. When I invite people to play and they join I always say hey what's up they respond then I ask questions like have you done trials this week or what exotics are you hoping for. Inviting people to play basically breaks the ice and in MM you stay quiet cause you don't want to be the weirdo trying to make bathroom conversation in a since. I don't mind it

So you would choose to not use the optional MM. That is fine. There would be others that would like it and use it, that is fine too. Everyone is different. This one size fits all mentality that Bungie has is burning and hindering their new IP.

Even bathroom conversation requires some social skill and I assume that the pro OMM faction here has deficits, simply is not willing to make "online-friends" or is afraid of being rejected due to lack of skill/equipment.

Because just like Matchmaking & Looking for Group, there are tools IN-GAME that Clans can take advantage of to meet up, communicate, coordinate, & succeed with. You cannot create a Clan in game. There is no Clan Chat in game. There is no interface to search/look up Clanmates. Clans are just a title to put under your name. Even if he did create a clan, how doesbit solve the Matchmaking problem? It doesn't. I've asked you this before... I want you to get out of "Bungie Staff" mode and look at the game from a 3rd person/unbiased perspective. Mownplace yourself into the shoes of a "new" player in each of the following roles: 1. A child (between ages 10-15) 2. Military currently on deployment. 3. A parent with kids. 4. A person with 2+ jobs. Now tell me...how realistic is it for each of those demographs to turn on their game...look at the content before them, then LEAVE the game (or walk away from their console), then dig up a website, post on it, & wait any length of time (between 30minutes to 3 hrs) to get a group going for said content. How is that even remotely acceptable? What was the average Destiny play time? 3 hrs? Hey that time got spent in orbit because said player was on websites seeking a group, now said player is out of time. So NOTHING got done. But I'll speak your language Deej: "You know Deej, someone with your wisdom & experience at ignoring the glaring problems facing the community would make a great politician. You should become a member of the Senate or House of Representatives." We all know they only have our best interest in mind.

I disagree!!!!! Deej is more suited for congress. They excel at talking yet doing nothing.
