This did work when we tried it, but we definitely needed 3 lvl 34s and maxed out gjallys with weapons of light, bastion, and illuminated on the defender bubble. We originally tried it with two Lvl 34's each with two maxed gjallys and a Lvl 33 with maxed truth. Unfortunately the level truth just didn't give is enough fire power. I've come close several times to doing it legit, it's a longer fight but manageable if you can keep your eyes on the jail breaker mob. The eye or whatever he is called. I was using sword breaker to break out of the bubble with the jail breaker buff and that seemed to work well when we were all bunched up close together.
