As the title implies. [b]NOTE[/b]: I know how much atheists hate religious topics. EASY CURE:[spoiler]Go away, but if you (atheist or apostate religious) must, be informative.[/spoiler]

61 RepliesCatholics don't actually pray to Mary or the saints. That is a ridiculously huge misconception. Instead, we pray for their intercession. It's like asking them to put a good word in for you or like asking a friend to pray for you. "Praying" to Mary is like saying "Hey Mary, you should help me out and ask your son to answer my petitions." That's it. We don't worship Mary and we don't worship the Saints. We just believe in a total community of believers. That means past, present, and future. Plus, if you get Mary to ask Jesus on your behalf, do you think Jesus is gonna say no to his mom? :p
