So I have been using the companion app (or bungie.net) for a while now to switch weapons while playing or even offline (which is working much better than it used to, I might add). I don't know how I didn't see it before, but I just found that you can also store/retrieve items in the vault and swap them between characters instantly. Am I the only one who was still running to the tower to change out gear? This is so much better!
