Their game was created this way. He clearly states that part of the challenge for end game content is to form or find a group.
I understand it may be annoying to some, but hey, I did it. I've met a lot of people through destiny and play with them regularly now because I went out and pursued them.
In the end, optional matchmaking would solve all of your problems.

I was just pointing out that it is flawed because no game should require you to leave the game to form a team on a PC or Cell Phone only to go back on the game in the name of making it a challenge. That is another barrier to make this game "feel rich" in content. My opinion of course but many seem to agree. What happens if you don't have a PC or internet available on your cell? The console plus the game was expensive. The challenge should be within the game itself. :)
