The only difference between a titan and a warlock/Hunter are the abilities + specials + double jump. Do you kill more with abilities + supers than guns? You shouldn't. The variability is very minor. Titan's special is regarded as one of the most annoying because it is essentially unstoppable. I've played against really good titans and really bad ones...but mostly, it all comes down to guns.
