A fictional universe in which some weapons are correct... leaving little excuse for the opposite.
-
Dude, there's a gun that shoots thorns. Another that shoots solar energy. And yet another that upon detonation will release other payloads that further track the target.
-
Object A having impossible functionality does not mean that Object B is exempt from scrutiny. Especially when Object B is so obviously based on a real-world counterpart, and Object A is not.
-
A game where you charge a weapon through coils to fire a burst of rapidly firing energy completely negates any expected realism.
-
Did you just completely ignore my last post?
-
Pretty much. You're criticizing a sci-fi game. I will admit that I thought it was weird when I first saw the barrel at the bottom of the gun. But I thought to myself "these people made Halo and a game that has space travel and aliens."
-
And oddly enough... far more realistic human weapons.

I would understand if you were criticizing a military game. But CLEARLY a game with space magic should be examined with minut detail on the location of a barrel.
