No, on the Rhino, the hammer cocks the weapon. It doesn't FIRE the weapon.
There's a huge difference.

Didn't say it fired the weapon.. And on The Last Word your Guardian holds down the trigger enabling the weapon to be fired while the hammer activates the firing pin...
