Yeah, finally killed Blue Smelter only to learn that he's optional. Not quite sure where to go now.

At least you have the satisfaction of saying you killed him, I chickened out the first couple of times through the DLC. There's so many paths, just try and remember which ones you've been down and you'll find your way (although there are some sneaky ones)
