Is the exotic emblem a random drop or for sure drop? I made it to Mercury but didn't get it. Then again my emblem slot was full. :/

A lot of people with no free emblem spots are reporting not getting it. Hopefully they fix it so you can get yours!

Yeah, I just read on the bungie post about it! Hopefully they'll reward us the deserved emblem but if not I'll just shrug it off and attempt another 9-0 run. Appreciate it, man!
