Skyrim- every guard was an adventurer like you, untio he took an arrow to the knee. Decides to be a guard. Job requirments? Chase and fight chriminals, dragons, vampires, some animals, deal with dragonborns shenanigins, get "FUS RO DAH" all around town, deal with him changing the damn weather, summoning a -blam!-ing dragon then riding the bloody thing, literaly opening hell and using deamons as bodyguards.(read pages 2-500 about dragonborns shenanigins). Guard thinks to himself. "Why in taloses bollox is the phyco allowed to -blam!-ing live???" ( dragonborn steals all of the huards sweetrolls)
