does it heal you with ever melee hit? does it give your grenades tracking? you lose

Actually, strikers get a perk for healing on shoulder charge kills, so technically, they do get healing.

Actually there is a post above that explains how it can get much a larger increase. Brawler, arcburn, and of course the greaves. And can be used over and over again. And heal you at the same time.
