Where are the True Halo Fans?

I've been wondering, why are so called "Halo fans" whining about halo? They say 343 ruined it. I say they took it in the right direction, and all my friends agree with me. If someone says they are a Halo fan, they should not hinder Halo's progression towards a bigger, better game series. If Halo were to never change, it would become boring and extremely repetitive. The change is more understandable for Halo than COD because of the time periods that both should take place in. The storyline for Halo is getting very intense and interesting. We are learning more than ever before about the forerunners and the universe. We are going to see blue team in Halo 5, so be excited I say. 343 is trying to improve Halo, and draw people into it's story. Halo 5 is not that same as Halo 3Heck, Halo 2 was different from CE. You don't have to have had the original games to know that, because the MCC has all the main halo games. While the Master Chief collection is having networking issues, it does not mean the same for halo 5. The beta ran very smoothly for me with little or even no networking issues. This makes me hopeful that it will work at launch. Trust me, Halo 5 will be a good game, it will not be COD, it will still be very different from COD. I know it must be scary for there to be changes to one of your favorite game series, I'm nervous for Battlefront myself, but no game in a series should be the same exact game as the last one because that would get boring fast. We can leave feedback to game developers to tell them what is good, and what is bad. Then they can work from there. Halo 5 has interesting mechanics to say the least, and we should at least see if they work by playing the game, before saying it is not Halo, because no matter what you say, it is Halo. It is Halo, it is in it's name. Halo is not dead. I don't think halo would be better off if Bungie still made it. Many people were disappointed with Destiny. Who says Bungie would have not taken halo in the same direction as 343? You know what, Bungie would not have taken it the same direction. It would not have as much hype as it does now. Halo would not have any new players. My brother used to hate Halo because of how it was in Halo 3. Now he is starting to like it because of MCC. He seems interested in joining the community. Who's to say others won't be like him and join the Halo community? This may not be the Halo community any more (that's on Halo Waypoint) but I think the people on this forum should still be happy that Halo ever existed, because it is one of the games that formed this website. It is a major video game that people look at. It had history, with Bungie and Microsoft, and now 343, a new game developing company, was born out of it. Halo is not gaming to die until Microsoft does. You should all know that. You may not be the true Halo community, but you can still enjoy your old Bungie favorites. Go ahead and play Destiny, I'll be waiting to see who is with me on what I'm saying. Edit: So, who really thinks Halo is like COD now? Not me. Call of Duty AW: No forge OP as -blam! Weapons Instant death Double jump No real vehicle Tried to copy Titanfall Made y Sledgehammer (that is the developers name right?) Not in space Boring story Character customization (copied Halo) ADS In the future Weapon attachments Slow bulky movement Already released No aliens Halo 5 Guardians: Will have forge Will most likely have vehicles Weapons are balanced No pointless double jump Made by 343 In space Interesting story Character customization ADS (f you get hit you de-scope though, like classic Halo) In the future No weapon attachments Lots of maneuverability, and quicker movement Not released yet Has aliens Blue team

Halo MacWorld demo version forever! I jest... But seriously, Bungie was done with Halo, the same way they let all their previous games come to a close. It bothers me that Microsoft is so intent on dragging out the series indefinitely. They would never have gone the way of 343i because they are all about the vague plots that go on around the character. 343i determined to explain away the mystery and focus on MC's story. It just feels like reading a series of books that suddenly changes authors. The style, pacing and personality of the series took a dramatic turn. I never felt that Bungie was super serious about Halo (or any of their games for that matter). They've always been a little tongue in cheek, burying easer eggs and pop culture references. Marathon was the same way, but I didn't realize it was such a self parody until I played it again as an adult. Jason Jones is honestly the only name I recognize from my era of fandom. Yet he must have some serious pull, since every game Bungie has made since Pathways Into Darkness has been more like a reboot of a single series than a new IP. I don't hate the direction they are going, but being a non-XB1 owner, I will once again be deprived of the future Halo franchise. This time I feel a lot less of a sense of loss and betrayal though. I mean, I finally got my Bungie back, but uh... They have made some baffling choices in their current endeavor. It still feels like Pathways Into Mara-Halo however.
