Sidearms need to be primaries.
This class of guns need to be primaries. They always spawn with ammo, just like primaries, making the need for secondary ammo irrelevant. They will now dominate everything. Goodbye snipers and shotguns and that other weapon type nobody bothers with, we now have constant ammo with our new sidearms.
The whole point of the secondary class is powerful weapons with less ammo, that is now ruined by literally putting primaries in the secondary slot.
So bungie fix this mistake immediately and put secondaries in the primary slot where they belong.
Edit: everybody needs to go look up the definition of burlesque

It balances out the rubbish primaries like NLB, by allowing you to equip a rubbish secondary at the same time. If you then roll with dragons breath as your heavy you can now have a 100% completely useless loadout. I jest of course, we should of had sidearms available as an option from the start, juat like every other shooter lets you.

Yea no. This won't effect shoguns that much. It could be a little strong and could even make universal remote and no land beyond usable.

2 RepliesDid you see the impact, and the rof? It's not a hand cannon. And it doesn't have enough of a mag to be an ar. Special weapon for dropping the shield sounds about right. Also. It's the special weapon slot. Not the freaking secondary.

Sidearms are better left where they are, there's enough primaries to choose from. Some people may choose to use NLB + Sidearm for PVP, not sure how redundant they'll be but we'll find out as soon as HoW goes live. No point pre-judging something you haven't tested. Just my $0.02.
