I was going to have that, but unfortunately I gave that ability to the Solar Titan so the melee ability could actually be useful. That's pretty much why I gave the void Hunter the crouch trap, should do the same thing but you can't trigger it on an enemy you target across the map. (Probe is very long ranged) Plus it might be OP if it suppresses bosses like that. Void Hunters can already basically tank a boss.

    Yeah, but it really has no effect in PvE. In PvP it disables enemy super and jump abilities. So being able to silence whoever from any distance would be a little overpowered, especially as a sniper. I gave the silence ability to the Solar Titan as a perk for the melee. Once the melee is used the target is pulled closer to the Titan, the suppression activates so it can be used against supers and further prevent escape.

  • Exactly, not useful in PvE, you already said the new theoretical hunter would be too effective against bosses so this may lead to more balance
