Investigating Rumours
There are a number of rumours within the world(s) of Destiny.. What have you heard, and do you think we could investigate?
One specifically on my mind is the Tower's 7 hidden coins. Bungie stated that finding all 7 would result in a special emblem. I, among many others, have found these coins. But I, as with all the others, have not received any such reward. What do you think triggers the reward?
[b]EDIT: I live under a rock. The coins reward had already been claimed a while ago. As there are surely others living under rocks like myself, there are 7 tiny coins hidden around the Tower. A screenshot was taken of the first one hidden in the tree, and Bungie asked "I wonder what would happen if you found all of them". So the hunt began. The first player to find all them and post evidence on Bungies official post would be rewarded with a special emblem. This apparently has already been done.. though it would be cool to actually see it for our own eyes.[/b]
What other rumours are out there? An extra hidden chest in VOG? Maybe you've heard a rumour, not about gameplay, but actual lore?

The coins. Well that solves that then haha. That's quite cool - sorry for being way out of date - I just remembered reading the initial discovery post and then never heard anything further. I wonder if that person who 'won' has shown the public what the emblem looks like. Much to my dismay, I have been incredibly absent from Destiny - still haven't even tried the VOG. I was turned off the game early on, shortly after release. But I am playing properly now after reaching NG+7 in Bloodborne, which got pretty -blam!-ing boring. Speaking of VOG - for anyone else in my position who have not yet completed it, you can join my group/clan The Black Lion for a bit of help. Shameless self-advertising. What other rumours are out there?
