Hello, Guardians!
So, have you ever noticed that the one of Moons of Mars, specifically Phobos, is incredibly huge in the Martian sky? The Cabal actually moved the Moon closer to Mars, but it's not actually stated how much closer they brought it.
Check out this video, where I use very imprecise science in an attempt to approximate the new distance to the Moon.
And I also talk about how the in game Mars compares to its real life counterpart.
I guarantee you'll learn a thing or two...!
Edit: Part 2 is out now as well

I was kinda thinking the Cabal capture of Phobos was sort of understated. Since it's obviously much closer, and located close to a strategically valuable location, I think the Cabal keep Phobos there deliberately as a faildeadly for if their exploration of Vex technology goes badly. If they lose control of the gates they've stolen, and Vex sweep territory the Cabal have taken, or something they've never seen before comes out of that gate, I think the plan is for them to then evacuate and deliberately crash Phobos into the Freehold area.

Your intelligence made me slightly moist.

Good video.....only one problem......when two of the colonists eventually have a child....won't Mars weak gravity cause he baby to have poor muscle and skeletal development?
-
You blinded me with science!
-
reply so i can watch later anyone?
-
Good stuff. Most of the sky box planets and moons are disproportionately large to how they appear in real life, but I guess you can just say 'the Traveler did it' as an excuse to make it look cool!
-
The traveler terraformed in the golden age so yeah...
-
Cool video with interesting informations! Thank you. :D
-
Well Phobos has been moving towards Mars for a long time now and it will hit in 50 million years
-
Very imprecise science LMAO.
-
reply 4 l8r?
-
Great video.
-
had my math professor told me calculus would help me beat destiny I wouldnt have skipped his classes as much....
-
Cool reply for later viewing pls?
-
Mars has no moon... Phobos is a captured asteroid.
-
Awesome stuff, well done!
-
Good vid

Awesome, well done!

SCIENCE!!!
-
This video is actually so sick. I appreciate you pointing out where your math is weak, but also explaining your assumptions with detailed rationale. This was well covered, great job.

There is no math Just space magic
