I've never seen anyone use Aries Nemesis (a 300 weapon). My hunter has it.

While the supremacy is a rare gun, its not the rarest either. The problem was the first queens wrath was a bit of a flop. There wasnt really any new content other than weapons and armor (and a few bounties). The missions handed out were just the exact missions from the story but on a hard difficulty. You need to remember that it played out in week 3 after launch. Everyone in the game was clamoring to get thier first legendary gear (Lets not forget how bad the cryptarch used to screw us out of our legendarys). Along comes the queens wrath missions that handed out legendary gear like candy. Wasnt long before bungie patched it and stopped all armor pieces from giving ascendant shards. Well for a large portion of day 1 players this was the final straw and basically they just stopped grinding. In fact it seems like alot of ppl forgot about the weapons all together aside from a few. Not that it was hard to do as the weapon drops were very very rare. Out of all of the weapons i personally have only seen a few. Mercy (handcannon), the ninth edict (pulse rifle ) and her veangence (auto rifle). Aside from the supremacy that ive got thats it. I have yet to see wolves curse (machine gun) or pallas regime (scout rifle). So as far as rarity i would pick from those guns. If you only look at vog i would say either preadeths time piece (pulse rifle) or fatebringer (handcannon). But even then there are tons of them out there.

On your logic The Supremacy would be the rarest. Doubt anything would come close. But for me rarity as of now means something that is obtainable as of now. That is why PF is so rare. It's been available since (effectively) launch but still very few have it. A gun that was common for a while but most people deleted doesn't fit my personal definition of "rare". Supremacy was time limited and required some effort to get. But actually if u put the hours in while queen's wrath was open you would 100% get it. Just my view.
