Ok but Star Wars has a super weapon that DOESN'T wipe out all sentient life on their side once used.

Actually this is false, the Rakata built devises such as these to hold prisoners, the tech can be easily adapted to accommodate the needs. Not to mention one of these devices is the size of a large suit case
