Star Wars would win over the sheer scope of available technology. I like halo more. Really I do, but I'm sorry. There is just MASSIVE amounts of stupidly advanced technology SW has at it's discretion. I won't even go into Star Wars. It's too much to fathom.

I despise Star Wars. But you know what? I gave it the time of day. I watched the movies, played the games, and read some of the books. It sucks. I don't like it. I'm simply answering the question. The precursors don't exist.

I didn't buy halo 4 and I won't buy halo 5. The forerunners were the first beings of technology. There were no "precursors". I could easily tell you a story of whether the chicken came before the egg, and keep switching up the beginning of that story. That is what 343 is doing. Everything doesn't need to be explained, even the vague parts. We were never meant to know everything. Just because these f*cker gamers want answers doesn't mean they should get them. It's more realistic to keep things unknown than to keep adding content to a story too vast to fully comprehend.

We each have our own opinions. If I were to list games that I like to you. Who's to say you would like them? Anyway, I don't consider a company that is solely creating "canon" games so that mindless thralls can keep purchasing them is worth even thinking about. I'm not saying that halo 4 or 5 or the precursor lore is bad. I'm saying it isn't necessary to anything. Just like call of duty, 343 is simply coming out with this new story and games to draw people in. I consider art... Well, art. I consider drawn out plot line and copy/pasted material garbage. It was about the story at first. Now it's about how much money 343 can squeeze out of the gullible people that will keep buying their games. If you are too blind to see the time and innovative thinking that goes into making a beautiful game, then fine. You can keep purchasing reciprocated, reused, bland shit. I'm not that stupid.
