He said evolution was directly observed in animals like fruit flies with short life spans. I'd like him to send me info when that fly turns into some other sort of species. Since that's really what he made it sound like.

If you know what he meant then why play that game? Evolution takes time to achieve speciation.

Whatever example presented is going to be more believable for someone who leans towards evolution cause they're hungry for more evidence. Whereas it's going to take an AWFUL lot to convince me cause...I believe totally differently. I guess I just don't really give evolution a lot of credit cause it doesn't make any sense to me how it can explain the incredible complexity in which our world works. It doesn't line up to me.

That's fine. But use actual scientific sources. Those creationist websites rely on you not knowing what you're talking about, so you'll just be learning the wrong stuff.
