Primary problem with the weapon is the perfect balance perk. That's what allows it to be spammed. A Timurs can two shot, but it's not spamable due to lower RoF and low stability. Most common kill I've seen with thorn is the 3 shot kill spam. It's easy to see thorn bullet trails so watch for it. Now with the weapon if you remove perfect balance, then there is no reason to also nerf the RoF as a high RoF low stability build essentially has an anti noob filter on it. If you went the other way and lowered RoF, then perfect stability would be worthless due to the weapon automatically resettling before the next shot is possible. This would also just result in all those players switching to TLW and doing the same thing.
