I've never had much difficulty with it, but I think it could be solved by making that dot just a little less. Maybe 3 per tick instead of seven. Or make the ticks less frequent. Like seven every two or three seconds rather than the second or so it seems now. I don't personally think any weapon is really op as I've found ways to counter them and I'm pretty Damn bad at crucible.
